The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office has charged a man who opened fire on police officers, wounding one, outside of a SEPTA bus in the Wissinoming neighborhood on Thursday, 11/21. 54-year-old Walter Farrell is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault on law enforcement, and other related charges. Farrell is being held without bail. 37-year-old Officer Donald Revill was shot in the forearm after struggling with Farrell. He was treated at the hospital and released.

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death in Rittenhouse Square on Thursday night, 11/21. It happened around 10 p.m. near the entrance at the corner of 18th and Walnut. Police responded to a report of a group fighting one man. They found 51-year-old Dean Jordan suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police say that Jordan was uncooperative and struggled with first responders. He initially refused treatment but medics convinced him to go to Jefferson Hospital. He died before midnight. Police did stop a suspect but had to let him go. The victim had refused to give them information and identify the suspect. Officials will look into surveillance from the area.

Two teens have been hospitalized after being stabbed while riding SEPTA's Broad Street Line in North Philadelphia on Friday morning, 11/22. It happened after 9 a.m. between the Logan Station and the Olney Transportation Center. The two 17-year-olds got off at Olney and walked to Einstein Medical Center. One boy is in stable condition while the other is in critical condition. No arrests have been made.

UPDATE: SEPTA police have released a photo of the suspect in the Broad Street Line stabbings. See photo below.
