Police in Caln Township, Chester County, are looking to speak with the driver a white van seen near the area that a homemade explosive device was discovered earlier this week. The driver of the van, possibly a Dodge Tam 3500 ProMaser, may be able to provide clues to authorities in their investigation. Police say the vehicle is not believed to be connected with the devices. Two handmade explosives, 1 intact and 1 detonated, were found in two different parts of Caln Township. They were about 6 inches long and wrapped in red and black tape. If you have any information, call police at 610-383-1821.

Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect wanted for robbing a deli and a bank in Center City this week. He was caught on video when he held up Old Nelson's Deli on 13th Street on Wednesday morning, 1/22, around 7:30 a.m. (see photo below). The man approached the counter and had his hand in his pocket like he had a gun. He told the clerk to give him money and made away with $60 from the register. The same suspect struck again on Thursday, 1/23, at 2:45 p.m. at the Republic Bank on the 800 Block of Chestnut Street. He handed the teller a note demanding cash and then fled the scene. He is described as a white male, approximately 6' 3" - 6' 5" tall, slim build, with a mustache. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and sweatpants, black skull cap, and white sneakers with red and black trim. If you have any information call the FBI/PPD Violent Crimes Task Force at 215-418-4000. A reward is being offered.

Two teens were hospitalized after a double shooting in Strawberry Mansion on Friday night, 1/24. It happened at 8 p.m. on the 2300 block of North 30th Street. Police said that a 13-year-old boy was shot twice in the back and a 14-year-old boy was shot once in the back. They were both taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
