Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect wanted for stealing $500,000 worth of jewelry from a backpack in a Center City hotel on Monday morning, 1/28. It happened at 10:30 a.m. at the Sofitel Hotel located on S. 17th Street. The backpack belonged to former Philadelphia 76ers star Allen Iverson. Iverson was not present at the time. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-years-old, 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark jacket, red shirt, dark-colored pants, and black and white sneakers. If you have any information contact police at 215-686-TIPS.

A joint operation between the Attorney Generals of New Jersey and Pennsylvania broke up a gun trafficking ring and recovered the weapon that killed a little girl in Kensington last year. Dubbed "Operation Zombie," the investigation recovered 36 guns and 20 ounces of methamphetamine. Five people were also arrested. One of the guns was used in the murder of 2-year-old Nikolette Rivera. She was shot inside her home while in her mother's hands last October.

Philadelphia Police have released video of an attempted store robbery in West Oak Lane on Friday afternoon, 1/24. It happened at the Chelten Deli Market on Chelten Avenue. Two suspects entered the store and one pulled a gun on the clerk. The clerk, in turn, pulled a gun on the suspects and opened fire. Three shots were fired. The two suspect quickly ran out of the store. No one was hurt. The clerk's weapon was properly registered and he had a permit to carry.

A Bucks County man had pled guilty to charges related to mysterious explosions heard in Upper Bucks County in 2018. 33-year-old David Surman Jr. pled guilty to conspiracy to possess and possession of weapons of mass destruction, criminal use of a communication facility, and unlawful use of a computer for possessing child pornography. He was sentenced to one to two years in county jail followed by 10 years probation. His girlfriend pled guilty to possession of an explosive with intent to use and was sentenced to 54 months probation.
