Philadelphia Police are searching for three female suspects wanted for attacking another woman and stealing her purse in South Philly last month. It happened around 9 p.m. on January 16 on the 1600 block of S. Broad Street. The incident was captured on surveillance video. The 40-year-old victim had just left the Tasker-Morris subway station and was walking on the sidewalk when she was attacked from behind. The woman held on to her purse as the three suspects tried to pull it away. The victim was knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked. Eventually, the suspects were able to get the purse away from the victim and take off running. All three were wearing hooded sweatshirts. If you have any information, contact the South Detective Division at 215-686-3013.

A Philadelphia man told police that he shot and killed his brother and elderly father inside his West Oak Lane home early Tuesday morning, 2/11, because they were "possessed." It happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of East Walnut Lane. Police found 62-year-old Anslim Callender sitting in a chair in the basement near the bodies of 59-year-old Ancil Callender and 83-year-old Arnim Callender. They had been shot multiple times with a 9mm handgun and a shotgun. Both weapons were recovered. Anslim himself called 911 after the shooting. He is being charged with murder. "We don't know if there's mental illness involved or if there was some type of argument, but the scene is confined to one area of the house, that's the basement," said Philadelphia Police Captain Lee Strollo.

West Chester University police are investigating a report of sexual assault on campus over the past weekend. It happened early Sunday morning, 2/9, in a residence hall. The victim says that two men were involved in the assault. One suspect has been identified. The second suspect is described as a white man, his early 20s, about 5' 9” with a stocky build and facial hair. If you have any information, contact West Chester University Police Department at 610-436-3311.
