Doylestown Police had issued a Shelter in Place for the area near Shady Retreat and Limekiln Roads on Thursday evening, 2/20. A man was barricaded in a home. The shelter in place order has been lifted. Bucks County CRIMEWATCH

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a body was found inside a burning car in the Logan section early Thursday morning, 2/20. It happened just before 2 a.m. on West Fishers Lane between N. Sydenham and 15th Streets. The 2007 Mercedes station wagon was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. It took about 10 minutes to extinguish. The body was found in the passenger's seat and the door was wide open. The body was upside down in the car and was burned beyond recognition. Police could not determine age or gender. The person was apparently shot in the head. The medical examiner is performing an autopsy to determine cause of death and will try to make an identification through dental records. The car is registered to a Philadelphia address in another part of the city. Police are looking for surveillance footage in the area.

Authorities in New Jersey are investigating after the bodies of two newborn babies were found at a recycling center in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, on Wednesday, 2/19. Police first responded around 9 a.m. to the Colgate Paper Stock company on Industrial Drive after the discovery of the first baby. The second baby was found 6 hours later following an investigation at the facility. The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and New Brunswick police are investigating. They are now awaiting results of autopsies to find out how they died, how old they are, and if they are related.
