The Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort that is currently docked in New York City is now ready to receive patients from the greater Philadelphia area. The U.S. Northern Command said on Thursday, "In anticipation of medical support needed in the greater Philadelphia area, the USNS Comfort is prepared to admit patients within a one-hour traveling radius from the ship." Northern Command is the Department of Defense's lead for fighting COVID-19 in the United States. They also announced that medical teams have been sent to several sites in the Northeast including two in Pennsylvania, three in New Jersey, 11 in New York, one in Stamford, Connecticut and two in Boston. The USNS Comfort is taking both coronavirus and regular patients. It has 500 beds and all facilities of a working hospital. It arrived in New York on March 30, originally to handle an overflow of regular patients. It began to take COVID-19 patients on April 7. The USNS Mercy is deployed on the west coast.

A body was found inside a burning car at a car dealership in Camden County, New Jersey, on Thursday night, 4/16. It happened around 9:20 p.m. at the back of a Jaguar/Land Rover dealership on Rt. 70 in Cherry Hill. The body was found after the fire was extinguished. Investigators are trying to determine the identity of the victim, how they died, and what led up to the car fire.

There is a $10,000 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two men wanted in an attempted armed robbery and shooting in Bensalem, Bucks County, last month. It happened around 9 p.m. on March 20 at the First Stop Cigarettes & Cigars on the 900 block of Bristol Pike. Officials say that one man entered the store armed with a gun and demanded money from the employee. He then fired a shot, hitting the employee in the chest, and fled the store. The armed robber met up with a second man outside who was acting as a lookout. They both fled on foot into the parking area of the Grandview Gardens apartment complex. The employee was taken to the hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Both the FBI and Bensalem Police are looking for these two men. The armed robber is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and a white mask over his nose and mouth. The lookout is described as a black male, wearing a light-colored shirt, dark-colored pants, and white sneakers. The reward is being offered by the Citizens Crime Commission. If you have any information, call the Citizens Crime Commission tip line at 215-546-TIPS (215-546-8477)
