The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com have new owners today. Again. This is the 5th ownership in 6 years. And the sale price plummets with every transaction. Six years ago the price tag exceeded $515 million. Today's price, $55 million. The new ownership group is led by Lewis Katz, George Norcross and philanthropist, Gerry Lenfest.

Taylor Swift had to attend the Country Music Awards solo Sunday night. Kevin McGuire, the local teen battling leukemia could not make it. Kevin was sick in the hospital. Swift told him not to worry. Taylor will take him to another awards show.

New bicycle laws go into effect today in Philadelphia. Bicycle riders are expected to avoid disrupting normal traffic patterns. Drivers need to give bikers a 4 foot cushion when passing a bicyclist. Bike riders also have the right of way when traveling in the opposite direction of a driver making a turn.
