Woman Killed By Stray Bullet; Driver Shot/Killed on I-95; Obama Drive-in Rally in Philadelphia 10/21

A woman was struck and killed by a stray bullet while driving in Chester, Delaware County, on Monday afternoon, 10/19. It happened just before 1 p.m. near 9th Street and Central Avenue. 62-year-old Diana Davis of Chester, an innocent bystander, was struck in the side. A surveillance camera caught footage of her car slowly crashing into a telephone pole after she was hit. Davis was rushed to Crozer Chester Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. A second vehicle was also hit by bullets. Two women and a child were inside. They were not injured. No arrests have been made. If you have any information, contact Chester Police.

Pennsylvania State Police have ruled a crash on I-95 S in Delaware County on Monday evening, 10/19, a homicide. It happened around 5:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Exit 9 in Tinicum Township. Troopers discovered a vehicle crashed into the guardrail. 31-year-old Clifford Douby was found dead inside from a gunshot wound. Troopers say someone in another vehicle drove up behind him and opened fire. The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, contact State Police at 484-840-1000.

Former President Barack Obama will be holding a campaign rally event for Joe Biden in Philadelphia on Wednesday, 10/21. The exact time and location is not known yet. The Biden campaign says, "President Obama will hold a drive-in car rally and encourage Pennsylvanians to make their plans to vote early." It will be held at the Citizens Bank parking lots in South Philly. It will be a ticketed event, with little to no public access. It will be live streamed on joebiden.com. This is Obama's first in-person campaign event for this year's presidential election, although he's participated in other campaign activities.
