An extremely rare, extremely expensive supercar went up in flames while filling up on gas at a Montgomery County Wawa on Saturday, 4/24. It happened around 2 p.m. at the convenience store on the 500 block on Dekalb Pike in Montgomeryville. Firefighters from the Upper Gwynedd Fire Department arrived to find the luxury vehicle engulfed in flames next to a fuel pump. The store had been evacuated and the emergency fuel pump cutoff had been pulled. The fire was extinguished but the car was a complete loss. Just a pile of melted/burnt metal and plastic was left. The North Penn Fire Company, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, and Upper Gwynedd Police Department assisted. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

North Penn Now reported that the car is described as a 2021 McLaren. A source said it had recently been purchased and only had 100 miles on it. There were only 750 of this model manufactured. It was worth $560,000.

The family of missing Dulce Maria Alavez held a prayer service on Sunday afternoon, 4/25, in honor her 7th birthday. Dulce went missing a year and a half ago from Bridgeton City Park in New Jersey on September 16, 2019. She was playing on the playground when she disappeared. Local, state, and federal authorities have been searching ever since. "I know that there's somebody that knows something but is scared to come forward," former family spokesperson Jackie Rodriguez said. "That person, I feel like, is scared to come forward and say something. But there's more than one person that knows." There is a $75,000 reward for information leading to her return. Anyone with a tip can submit it anonymously at 1-800-Call-FBI.
