Officials have released new details on alleged 'serial killer' 39-year-old Keith Gibson who is accused of several murders and robberies in Philadelphia and Delaware. He was arrested in Wilmington, DE, on Tuesday, 6/8, after an armed robbery of a Rite Aid where he pistol whipped a clerk. He was found because a GPS tracker was mixed in with the cash taken from the pharmacy. He was wearing a bulletproof vest and was armed with a knife and loaded gun at the time. Gibson is accused of killing 40-year-old Christine Lugo at a North Philadelphia Dunkin' Donuts early Sunday morning, 6/6. The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office approved murder charges on Wednesday, 6/9. It may take a while before he is extradited to Philadelphia to face those charges. He is accused of killing Leslie Basilio while she worked as the manager of the T-Mobile store in Elsmere, DE, in May. Police also believe he killed his mother in East Falls in February. There are other cases police are looking at including the shooting of two men in a Germantown store in January. He has a violent rap sheet going back decades and has previously been convicted of manslaughter. Gibson is being held at Howard Young Correctional Institute on $305,000 cash bail.
