Authorities say they have found the body of the homeowner at the center of yesterday's SWAT situation and explosive fire in Montgomery County. The body of 66-year-old Thomas Razzi was discovered inside the rubble of his burned out home in the Eagleville section of Lower Providence Township. The cause and manner of Razzi's death is pending an autopsy. It started at 11:56 a.m. Thursday afternoon, 6/10, on the 4000 block of Cardin Place at the Eagle Stream Townhouses. A code enforcement officer went to the residence for a followup inspection. Officials say that Razzi was a hoarder. Razzi met the officer at the door with a gun. Police were called. Razzi retreated back into the home. A series of explosions were heard and the home went up in flames. Police evacuated nearby neighbors, including a teenager and two younger siblings next door. The two adjacent townhomes were also destroyed by the fire. Only one person suffered minor injuries. Police say the explosions were probably from chemicals used to make illegal fireworks and ammunition in Razzi's home.

Philadelphia dropped the last remaining 'Safer-at-Home' coronavirus COVID-19 mitigation restrictions on Friday, 6/11. People are no longer required to wear a mask indoors in most situations. Your vaccination status does not matter, but those who are still not vaccinated are strongly recommended to continue to wear a mask when around others. Masks are still required on public transportation, heathcare facilities, schools, and in congregate settings like prisons and shelters. Individual businesses may still require masks for everyone. The city has also lifted the 11 p.m. curfew for restaurants/bars. Starting tonight, last call will be 2 a.m. for the first time in over a year. Are you going out tonight?

Philadelphia Police are searching for a missing mother and her two children. 20-year-old Regina Strickland was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, 6/3, at Child First Services on School Lane in Germantown. She was with her 2-year-old son Hassan and 5-month-old daughter Jayann. She never returned home. If you have any information contact Philadelphia Police. See photo below.
