West Chester Borough Police are searching for two suspects wanted for the burglary of a jewelry store on Friday night, 8/13. It happened at 8:49 p.m. at Big Jewelers at 15 West Gay Street. The two men entered the store via the rear door and made off with an undisclosed amount of jewelry. If you have any information, call police at 610-696-2700.

Suspect #1: Black male, 50-60 years old, about 6 feet tall and 220 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue Jeff cap, blue surgical face mask, a blue polo style t-shirt with white strips, dark colored khaki shorts, and black shoes. This male was also wearing gloves that resembled golfing gloves and a compression sleeve on his left arm that had, "ER fit" towards the wrist, which is likely the brand of compression sleeve.

Suspect #2: Black male, 45-55 years old, about 5' 8" to 5' 10" tall and 190 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue baseball hat, black framed reading glasses, a brown t-shirt, yellow gloves, white socks, and light blue New Balance shoes with a white sole.

Starting Monday, 8/16, masks are now required inside all county-run buildings in Montgomery County, PA, regardless of vaccination status. This includes the courthouse in Norristown. Montgomery County Board of Commissioners Val Arkoosh said that masks are recommended to be worn indoors in all public spaces. That is not a mandate. Individual business owners, however, may require masks and even proof of vaccination or negative test to enter the building. The vaccinated are not recommended to wear masks outdoors.

U.S. women's soccer superstar Carli Lloyd of Delran, NJ has announced she plans to retire this fall. 39-year-old Lloyd is ranks at the top internationally in caps (#2) and goals (#5). She was twice named U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year (2008 & 2015) and was twice named the FIFA Women's Player of the Year (2015 & 2016). Her final matches will include 4 friendlies this fall with the USWNT (to be announced) as well the remainder of the NJ/NY Gotham FC season.
