A first-year student at Millersville University in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, has been found dead after he went missing earlier this week. 19-year-old Matthew Mindler of Hellertown, Northamption County, was last seen walking away from his residence hall around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, 8/24. He was reported missing late Wednesday, 8/25, after he didn't return to his dorm and did not answer phone calls from his family. He was found in Manor Township near campus on Saturday, 8/28. The body was taken to the Lancaster County Forensic Center for a medical examination by the coroner. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Mindler had previously worked as a child actor. He is best known for appearing in 2011 movie "Our Idiot Brother" with Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Dechanel, Emily Mortimer, and Rashida Jones. He also appeared in soap opera "As The World Turns" and movie "Frequency."

UPDATE: The Lancaster County Coroner's Office has ruled Mindler's manner of death a suicide, but the cause of death is pending toxicology results.

A young boy was injured in a shooting in Strawberry Mansion on Saturday night, 8/28. It happened just before 8 p.m. on the 2000 block of N. 32nd Street near W. Norris Street. A 4-year-old boy was shot once in the right foot. He was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia by private vehicle and is listed in stable condition. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not known. There have been no arrests and no weapons have been found.

Sports
The Jacksonville Jaguars traded QB Gardner Minshew II to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 6th round conditional pick in the 2022 draft. The pick would become a 5th round pick if Minshew is involved in more than 50% of the plays in three games this season. Minshew was traded after it was announced that #1 pick Trevor Lawrence would be the Jaguars starting quarterback. The Eagles also released QB Nick Mullens. Minshew will be behind Jalen Hurts and Joe Flacco.
