Philadelphia Police believe that a homeless man and woman were victims of a targeted shooting in Kensington late Friday night, 12/17. It happened just before midnight in a homeless encampment on the 400 block of East Tusculum Street near Kensington Ave. The 31-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were staying in a tent. The woman was shot once in the leg and once in the buttock. The man was shot twice in the leg. They both tried to run away before they collapsed. Police transported them to Temple University Hospital. The man is in stable condition and the woman is in critical condition. The gunmen got away. Police believe they were targeted because they were shot up close.
