A former Bucks County high school choir director is accused of using hidden cameras to secretly record a former student as he undressed. 56-year-old Joseph Orht of Buckingham Township is charged with one count of interception, disclosure, or use of wire, electronic or oral communications; four counts of possession, sale, distribution, manufacture, or advertisement of electronic, mechanical, or other devices and telecommunication identification interception devices; invasion of privacy; and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. A 2016 graduate and choir member at Central Bucks West High School came to police in May 2021 about Orht. He told authorities about inappropriate touching and advances by Orht. Authorities eventually got a laptop, cameras, and memory cards that Orht had attempted to destroy and found images and video of the victim undressing. Bail was set at $50,000, 10 percent. Orht had mentored the victim while he was in high school and the victim lived in a room in Orht's home after he graduated.

Actor/Comedian Bob Saget's cause of death has been determined according to his family. "The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep," their statement said. "No drugs or alcohol were involved." The 65-year-old standup comedian was found unresponsive in his Orlando hotel room on January 9. He had apparently hit his head and then went to sleep. He died of brain bleed as he slept. Toxicology showed no signs of alcohol or drugs. Saget was out on tour, having performed in Jacksonville the previous night. Saget was born in Philadelphia and attended Abington High School and Temple University. He was also known for his role on "Full House" and as the host of "America's Funniest Home Videos."

Police in Chester and Delaware Counties are searching for two women who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of makeup and skincare products from two cosmetics stores. West Whiteland Police say the pair stole approximately $10,000 worth of products from the Ulta store in Exton on February 3. They were caught on surveillance video at the store. (see photo below) One woman stole the pricey merchandise while the other woman distracted store employees. "They know what they're going for the high dollar items. They clearly have done this before," said West Whiteland Township Police Detective Scott Pezick. The same two women are suspected of stealing $12,430 worth of makeup from the Ulta in Newtown Square on January 19. If you have any information contact West Whiteland Police.
