Delco Man Arrested for Germantown ATM Murder; West Oak Lane 3x Murder; North Philly Dirt Bike Crash

Philadelphia Police have arrested a Delaware County man in connection to the murder of a man at a Germantown ATM on Thursday, 3/3. 23-year-old Corey Thompson of Chicester is charged with murder, possession instrument of crime, robbery, and other related offenses in the death of 69-year-old James Watson. It happened around 8:20 p.m. Thursday at the Citizens Bank at Germantown and Chelten Avenues. Watson was in the vestibule withdrawing cash when he was he was approached by two men who announced a robbery. Thompson is accused of firing two shots which killed Watson.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after three men were found shot to death in West Oak Lane on Saturday night, 3/5. It happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday at Haines Street and Cedar Park Avenue. Police arrived to find two men suffering from multiple gun shot wounds inside a Kia. A third man was found shot nearby. All three men were in their 20s and were pronounced dead at the scene. That car had been reported stolen on March 2. No arrests have been made.

A man was killed while riding his dirt bike in North Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, 3/5. It happened around 3:30 p.m. at Broad and Norris Streets. 30-year-old Hysheen Allen of Philadelphia was traveling southbound on Broad Street on a Yamaha dirtbike heading towards Norris Street. Allen was riding on the sidewalk. A silver Jeep traveling northbound on Broad Street made a left turn on Norris Street and made contact with Allen. Allen was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the Jeep stopped at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
