The U.S. Supreme Court announced on Monday, 3/7, that it will not review Bill Cosby's sexual assault case, instead, leaving the lower court's ruling that threw out Cosby's conviction. The SCOTUS did not comment either. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court had thrown out his conviction on appeal, and prosecutors hoped the US high court would reinstate the conviction. In 2018, Cosby was convicted of drugging and molesting Temple University employee Andrea Constand in 2004. He was not arrested or charged at the time. Constand brought a civil suit against the actor. In 2005, then Montgomery County DA Bruce Castor promised Cosby that he wouldn't face prosecution if he participated in a deposition in the civil case. There was no formal record of that promise. Ten years later, Montco DA Kevin Steele brought the criminal case against Cosby. He was convicted and served 3 years in prison before the PA Supreme Court ruled that the District Attorney's office was bound by that secret agreement not to bring charges.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a woman, teen, and child were stabbed in Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, 3/6. It happened around 2 p.m. on the 3200 block of Knorr Street in Mayfair. The suspect attacked the 37-year-old woman inside her home. She was stabbed multiple times throughout her body. The woman's 15-year-old and 10-year-old boys tried to help her. They also received stabs wounds. The older boy ran for help and the suspect 'casually' walked away. All three were taken to Frankford Torresdale Hospital. The mother is in critical condition and her sons are in stable condition. Later that afternoon around 5:30 p.m., the suspect tried to turn himself in at the 15th District headquarters, but it is being renovated. Officers came and took him into custody. His identity has not been released. No word on a possible motive.

Police have identified the victims in a triple shooting in West Oak Lane on Saturday night, 3/5. It happened around 11:40 p.m. at Haines Street and Cedar Park Avenue. 18-year-old Lamir "Naseem" Timms was found near the driver's seat and 20-year-old Ahmed Graham was shot in the back seat. 18-year-old Konyae Rice was found down the street. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. They were in a Kia Sportage that was reported stolen on March 2. No arrests have been made.
