The Kelly Center for Music, Arts and Community in Havertown along with Haverford Township present UNITED WITH UKRAINE, a peaceful demonstration with music and words to show community support for the people of Ukraine. All are invited to gather and show support for Ukrainians enduring an unprovoked attack on their country by Russia. UNITED WITH UKRAINE will feature LIVE Music as well as words from speakers and dignitaries. The event will also be streamed LIVE on Facebook and YouTube. Links at https://kellycenter.org/

"It is gut-wrenching to watch these events unfold in Ukraine," says Tom Kelly, Executive Director of the Kelly Center. "Freedom is under fire in a country whose citizens remind us of our own communities here in the US. We feel helpless. We hope this gathering and show of support may help in some small way. I am grateful to the leadership and Commissioners of Haverford Township for helping us organize this demonstration." Haverford Township leadership is preparing to adopt a Resolution in support of Ukraine.

Judy Trombetta, a Haverford Township Commissioner who is helping to the organize the event, says, "One of the things I love about Haverford Township is the generosity and kindness of our community, which rallies behind people in their time of need. On Thursday, we will continue this tradition when we come together to support our Ukrainian neighbors and friends, and everyone impacted by these senseless acts of violence."

The event will take place Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Rain or Shine.

Paddock Park Pavilion - 214 W. Hillcrest Ave, Havertown, PA 19083
