A 3-alarm fire in Trenton left two dead and 4 injured on Saturday night, 4/2. It happened just before 7 p.m. on the 800 block of Carteret Street. The fire may have been caused by a candle. 20-year twin brothers were killed in the fire. They were trapped on the third floor of the home. Four firefighters were also injured. One sustained burns and three others were hurt after a collapse inside. They were all taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center. They have since been released. The fire remains under investigation.

Two people were killed in a accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Mayfair on Saturday morning, 4/2. It happened around 11:45 a.m. on the 6400 block of Frankford Avenue. A red Ford F250 was traveling northbound on Frankford Avenue when it was cut off by a 62-year-old man riding a motorcycle going westbound on Passmore Street. The two vehicles collided and the motorcycle rider was thrown to the sidewalk. He was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital and pronounced dead at 12:31 p.m. The driver of the F250 lost control and struck a pedestrian who was sitting on a nearby bench. That man was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the two victims have not been released. "This tragic sequence of events was clearly caused by the motorcyclist. As for the innocent person sitting on that bench, it's just a tragic set of circumstances," said Inspector D.F. Pace of the Philadelphia Police Department. "He was at the wrong place at the wrong time." The truck driver stayed at the scene. No arrests have been made. The medical examiner will determine if the motorcycle driver was intoxicated. The investigation is ongoing.

Sports

Harvard shot 82.2% as a team in 1984. Villanova shot 527 for 635 or 82.99% this season.
