A 56-year-old man was stabbed and killed by another man while they were over a friend'ds house Saturday night, 7/2, in Roxborough. It happened around 8 p.m. on the 400 block of Seville Street. A neighbor had invited three men over to his home. At some point, a 52-year-old man used a kitchen knife to stab the victim. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. The suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered. Police say they do not have a motive.

A teenager was shot and killed when kids were playing with a family member's gun inside their Upper Darby home. It happened on Saturday, 7/2, on the 6900 block of Ruskin Lane. The teen was killed by a single gunshot. "We are working to identify the exact circumstances by which this happened, but in the meantime, please take a moment to educate your children and to keep this family in your thoughts," the police department said on Twitter.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a body was found in a burning car in Northeast Philadelphia late Saturday night, 7/2. It happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 8500 block of Verree Road in Fox Chase. After extinguishing the blaze, the body of a young adult male was discovered in the trunk of the car. The man had his hands tied and was shot in the head. Police believe he had been shot shortly before the car was set ablaze. The car is registered to an address in the Northeast, but police haven't made contact with the registrant yet. The investigation is ongoing.
