Wildwood and North Wildwood, New Jersey, have issued a number of new rules regarding use of the beaches, boardwalk, seawall, and bike path in response to coronavirus COVID-19. Governor Phil Murphy has ordered that all flags across New Jersey be lowered to half staff indefinitely in honor of those that have been lost. The City of Ventnor has closed its beaches and boardwalk until further notice. All 4x4 permits are no longer valid for the beach. Violations will be issued a summons and face fines of up to $1,000 and 6 months in jail.
