An out-of-control driver crashed into over a dozen parked cars in South Philadelphia last night. It happened after 10 p.m. Friday on 3rd Street between Ritner and Porter Streets. The driver of a pickup truck barreled down the street striking cars along the way. He smashed into 16 cars, several had to be towed away. The driver was arrested under suspicion of DUI.

Classes were canceled on Friday after a fire broke out in the bus depot for Parkland School District in the Lehigh Valley. It happened around 3 a.m. in the bus garage off of Stadium Road in Oreland, PA near the Oreland Middle School. The entire building was engulfed in flames. The Philadelphia Zoo has announced that their 37-year-old female polar bear Coldilocks has died. The zoo decided to euthanize the animal due to a serious decline in her health. Colidlocks was the oldest polar bear in the country. She was born on December 13, 1980 at Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, NY. Coldilocks arrived at Philadelphia Zoo on October 6, 1981.
