Dave Brubeck, a jazz legend, passed away today, missing his 92nd birthday by a day. He passed away due to heart failure in Connecticut. He began playing classical piano at a young age, finding jazz during college. He switched his studies from veterinary medicine to music and went on to become the jazz great we know today.

The 6th Walla Fest will be this Sunday with even more to see and hear than the last five! Walla Fest celebrated its one year anniversary a little over a month ago at the 5th Walla Fest, and the founders have kept it going as a way to "put Norristown on the map."
