Last Thursday, 8/22, Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert was shopping at the King of Prussia Mall. As the Grammy-nominated artist was being escorted through one of the department stores by his security team he was approached by 21-year-old Raheel Ahmad. Philadelphia Police have arrested three men wanted in a series of armed robberies at Popeyes Restaurants in Northeast Philadelphia the past several weeks. It started around 11 p.m. Friday 8/23 near a Popeyes on the 2500 block of Grant Avenue near Roosevelt Boulevard. Police had extra patrols in the area due to the recent incidents. A homeless man is under arrest after attacking another homeless man with a machete along a trail in Bala Cynwyd on Tuesday morning, 8/20. It happened around 4:30 a.m. between the Cynwyd Heritage Trail and the Schuylkill River in the Bala Cynwyd section of Lower Merion Township. A 13-year-old boy drowned early Wednesday morning, 8/21, after he and three friends snuck into a Delaware County swim club to go 'pool hopping.' It happened just after midnight at the Folcroft Swim Club. The four boys, ages 13-15, from Darby were able to slip through the locked gate and gain access to the pool. Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect wanted in a deadly double stabbing in the Brewerytown neighborhood on Monday night, 8/19, that was the result of an argument over social media. It happened just after 11:30 p.m. at 29th and Jefferson Streets. Apparently, the 19-year-old female suspect was in a fight with two sisters because of something posted on Instagram.
