Today, July 5th, Katy Perry's documentary is premiering. Not only does it focus on hardships of her career but also the demise of her marriage to English comedian, Russell Brand. As the film is a concert experience, it follows her on her first ever international tour through the ups and downs. It is very inspiring movie as it shows clips of her younger self singing, how she still suffers from self- confidence issues, and how she pulled through the divorce with a smile on her face. Considering that Perry is the producer of the film, the events about the divorce are taken from her point of view and should not be relied on too heavily. Overall, Part of Me has been a large success so far even though it was just released. It is a great film for young girls who look up to her and can see her through this film as a real person with problems and hardships like everyone else.
