Carly Rae Jepsen records new hit "Good Time" with Owl City

Carly Rae Jepsen has become famous for her catchy summer song "Call Me Maybe", which has been No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 songs for the past 5 weeks. Her demographic has been vast as she reached 7 year olds to 27 year olds. This song, though catchy and upbeat, has the same lyrical potential as "Friday" by Rebecca Black (who is releasing her album in December 2012 btw). However, Jepsen did not want to go down in music history as another one-hit-wonder and has already recorded a song with Owl City by the name of "Good Time". As Owl City has the same catchy sound and on hit wonder status, they make a perfect pair.

This new song is bound to be a hit based on its current number of plays and its lyrics which speak of having fun on summer vacation. Carley Rae Jepsen has set a record for other "one hit wonders" to have two very successful songs in one summer.
