Xponential Festival is a success!

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to attend both the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, DE, and the Xponential Festival in Camden, NJ. Although they took place during the same three days, the Xponential Festival had a suprising turnout. Xponential might not have had as famous of artists such as Jack White and the Black Keys, but they did headline Dr. Dog, Wilco, and Counting Crows. I was surprised at the large turnout at Xponential as it is on a much smaller scale and mostly only local Philadelphians attend. The festival was crowded but not to the point of utter chaos as most large festivals can be. The bands played wonderfully and drew the audience in at all ages. I found the crowd at Xponential much friendlier as it was lower key. If you like calmer festivals where you can actually sit and enjoy great music with cheap food and drinks you should think about attending Xponential next year.
