Today is Tony Bennett’s Birthday; Set to Release New “Duets” Album in October

Tony Bennett turned 86 today, and announced yesterday the release of his third "Duets" album, titled Viva Duet. In honor of his birthday, Bennett decided to give fans a present by releasing one of the songs “The Best Is Yet To Come” featuring Chayanne:

After the monumental success of his last two “Duets” albums, Bennett went for a third. Duets II featured artists from all music genres, including Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, and the late Amy Winehouse. Additionally, the previous two albums both went platinum and received numerous Grammy awards. The new album was recorded with a Latin theme in mind, pairing Bennett with artists like Marc Anthony, Miguel Bose, and Robert Carlos. All of the duets were live recorded in various locations like Fort Lauderdale, New York, and even Guadalajara, where Vicente Fernadez, a famous Mexican singer, has a 400 acre ranch.

Viva Duets will be released Tuesday, October 23rd. The current track listing includes (though a couple duets are still to be announced):
