A soda bottle wrapped up in electrical tape prompted a scare Sunday afternoon at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey. The incident happened around 4 p.m. when someone found the tape covered soda bottle and thought it looked suspicious. Authorities were notified and the bottle was destroyed. It turned out to be a false alarm.

Crews have pulled a tow boat from the water that sank off the coast of South Jersey, but the captain of the vessel remains missing. The 45-foot Cape Hatteras was raised Sunday, five days after it sank off the coast of Ocean City. The Coast Guard conducted a search by air and sea for two days, covering 400 square miles.

British man ran nearly 100 miles from New York City to Philadelphia over the weekend with the goal of raising awareness about mental illness. Simon Whitehouse started his run at Central Park in New York on Saturday morning. He finished on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia with a run up the steps of the Art Museum. The 100 mile challenge, which Whitehouse calls“Simon’s Rocky Road” was meant to raise awareness about mental illness and to pay tribute to his brother, Stephen, who suffered a severe mental breakdown 20 years ago and has suffered from schizophrenia ever since. Whitehouse says after he ran through Trenton he had to give up running and finish the last 20 miles on his bike.
