Saturday night's bill at the Wells Fargo Center is set to be a 1-2 punch of the best of today's alternative rock. There is no mellow or softness to either act here, just raw straight forward rock and roll. The Black keys and Cage the Elephant, both mainstays on Alternative Rock radio for many years now, are in the middle of a fall tour through the Upper Midwest, Canada, and the Northeast.

Headliners The Black Keys, comprised of the Grammy winning duo Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, are touring in support of their latest album Turn Blue. On tour, they are joined by Richard Swift on bass and John Wood on keyboards. Word is you can expect a fast paced show, minimal breaks, featuring songs from throughout their catalog, not just a showcase of Turn Blue. The Akron, Ohio band seems to be going non-stop from their own work, to producing, and now play arenas.

Cage the Elephant is coming off a huge summer, playing festivals all over the country including Coachella, Sasquatch, Bonnaro, Lollapalooza, and right down the road at Firefly. Their set at Firefly was one of the most talked about from the weekend, particularly the entire band's energy especially front man Matt Schultz. Cage the Elephant is not be missed live. They are touring in support of their latest album Melophobia which includes the No. 1 single “Come A Little Closer” and “Take It Or Leave It.” If you are headed to Saturday's show make sure you go on time and see their set, you will not be disappointed.

Tickets are still available. You can purchase tickets from the Wells Fargo Center box office
