White Thanksgiving; Joyce Sheridan's Death Ruled Homicide; Heavy Snow Into Tonight

A winter storm warning is in effect across the Delaware Valley until 10 pm, on what is typically the busiest travel day of the year. There are flight delays at PHL, so check with your airlines. Many people took to the roads overnight and early this morning to beat the snow. And that's lightening the traffic load on the roads a bit. The temperature is continuing to fall so give yourself extra time and be safe out on the roads.

Home for Thanksgiving. Many of you are already on your way, and maybe you are already there. If your destination is north or west of Philadelphia it’s likely you’ll have a white Thanksgiving. In the Poconos the snow started to fall early this morning and more than 8 inches is possible in the mountains. The temperature is steadily falling and travel conditions are getting worse before everything moves out around 10 o’clock tonight. So be safe out there!

Tonight the 76ers have the Brooklyn Nets. The Flyers are in Detroit.

Wet snow today. Temperature in the 30’s in Center City.
