Foo Fighters had the bittersweet honor of performing on the finale of The Late Show with David Letterman last night. Letterman explained that following his open-heart surgery in 2000, he had requested Foo Fighters be the musical guest on his first show back and that they play "Everlong." They obliged by canceling tour dates just to be there in NYC. His favorite band donned tuxedos and returned to the stage one last time to play that song again behind clips from the past 33 years. Watch the clip below:

Tame Impala has just released a new video for "Cause I'm A Man" off of their upcoming album Currents due July 18th. The 3-D animated clip traces the up and down romantic relationship between two figures as they live in this dreamy, psychedelic world. The animation style is reminiscent of much of early 90's virtual reality landscapes. Think Lawnmower Man and Johnny Mnemonic.

Thursday night, NBC held the Red Nose Day fundraiser, which helps raise money to help children living in poverty. The show was full of actors, comedians, musicians, and entertainers appearing in sketches, parodies and musical performances. The day started 30 years ago in the UK and is held every two years. This was the first time it was held in the USA. One of the standout performances came from Brit Ed Sheeran and a little green fellow from across a different pond, Kermit the Frog. The two sang a lovely duet of “The Rainbow Connection” from 1979's The Muppet Movie. The Muppets are set to return to prime time TV this fall on ABC.
