A$AP Rocky surprisingly announced on Monday night that he was moving the release date of the long awaited follow-up to 2013's LongLiveA$AP to Midnight. At.Long.Last.A$AP (A.L.L.A.) is now available online (Amazon and iTunes) and in stores. Executive producer and Rocky's mentor/collaborator, A$AP Yams, died in January of an overdose during recording and production of the record, which will be heartfelt on these tracks. This album features a long list of collaborators including M.I.A., Kanye West, Future, Mos Def, UGK, Juicy J, Lil Wayne, Rod Stewart, Miguel, Mark Ronson, Schoolboy Q, and more. The album was set to come out June 2nd.

Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was honored by Little Kids Rock with the "Livin' the Dream" award at their Family Jam held at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, CA. They raised $85,000 for music education for kids. Smith joined with some of the kids to perform the RCHP's 2002 hit "Can't Stop." Little Kids Rock has locations across the country, including Philadelphia. There are also plenty of other programs in Philadelphia that provide an alternative musical outlet for young kids like School of Rock, Rock to the Future, and Girls Rock Philly to name a few. "Music is the lifeblood of our culture and music has saved my life many times over," Smith says in the video. "Everyone should have the opportunity to be involved, in some way, in music." It is so important that some sort of music education is available to young people whether at school or outside of school. Support your local music education programs.
