Kimbra has released a stop-animated video for her song "Gold Mine" off of her second full length album The Golden Echo. It was directed and animated by Chester Travis and Timothy Armstrong and shot in an old factory in Berlin. The whole video was created with stop motion, no CGI, with plenty of aluminum foil and polystyrene spikes.

Philadelphia electronic duo Marian Hill recently stopped by Rolling Stone to perform in studio for their Sperry Sessions. Jeremy Lloyd and Samantha Gongol (along with Steve Davit on that saxophone and bass) played three songs from their EP Sway on Photo Finish/Republic Records. You can watch the sessions for "One Time," "Got It," and "Whiskey" below along with a little story behind each tune. Marian Hill recently played at Firefly in Dover and some dates across the pond. They'll play at Made in America in Philly over Labor Day weekend and at Union Transfer on October 1st before heading out on a cross country tour this fall.
