Upper Darby Police have arrested a man wanted for two separate luring incidents last week. 25-year-old Rudy Najera-Arita is charged with two luring attempts of children and related offenses. It happened around 3 p.m. Friday, 4/5, near Long Lane and Clinton Road. An 11-year-old girl reported that a man in a car tried to get her to come into his vehicle. She fled. On Monday, 4/8, 59-year-old guilty Daniel Dougherty was found guilty for the third time of intentionally setting fire to his Oxford Circle rowhouse in 1985, killing his two young sons. The jury of 8 women and two men deliberated for seven hours over two days. Dougherty was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder and arson causing death. A SEPTA Regional Rail train on the Media/Elwyn line struck a car on the tracks in Lansdowne, Delaware County on Monday morning, 4/8. It happened around 9:05 a.m. at Union Ave. The inbound train #1342 collided with an SUV and pushed it about 500 feet down the tracks. The female driver of vehicle was taken to Presbyterian Hospital and is on life support with an "unsurvivable injury." There were no injuries to the 300 people on board the train. 4-Alarm Fire in Port Richmond; Man Dies in Skydiving Accident; THC Vape Pen Deal Leads to Stabbing

Philadelphia Firefighters are battling a four-alarm fire at Sepviva and East Butler streets in the city's Port Richmond section. They were first called to the scene around 7:22 p.m. and found heavy fire. The Thrifty Irishman building is described as a repurposed warehouse and is home to several businesses. There are approximately 60 fire apparatus and vehicles with more than 150 firefighters on scene. There are no injuries reported at this point. The cause is not known.

Philadelphia Police believe drag racing led to a deadly crash that killed a young man near the Sports Complex late Saturday night, 4/6. It happened around 11:45 p.m. Saturday near 7th Street and Pattison Avenue. The 23-year-old man was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Pattison Ave at high speed. A SEPTA transit police officer stopped an attempted robbery on the Market-Frankford Line this past week in Kensington and it was caught on video. It happened on Wednesday, 4/3, just before 8 p.m. at the Huntingdon station. As the train came to a stop, the suspect grabbed the phone out of a 17-year-old high school student's hand and ran out of the opening doors. An insurance agency representing Bill Cosby has agreed to settle lawsuits filed by seven women who claim the entertainer defamed them by accusing them of lying about sexual misconduct allegations. The terms of the agreement are confidential. Cosby's spokesperson says that AIG went ahead with the settlement without the 81-year-old's knowledge or consent. The City of Philadelphia has launched its own official municipal identification card. This new government-issued photo ID is called the PHL City ID. It is intended for city residents that do not have access to or a prevented from obtaining other forms of state identification such as a driver's license.
