A woman was arrested after attempting to set a flag on fire in a crowd at the Philly Pride parade on Sunday, 6/10. It happened near 12th and Locust just after noon. 18-year-old Ryan Segin of Woodbine, New Jersey was taken into custody by Philadelphia Police. She was charged with attempting to commit arson, causing/risking a catastrophe, recklessly endangering another person and related offenses. A police officer shot and killed a woman who police say tried to run him over while fleeing a shoplifting in Deptford Township, New Jersey. Officers were called to the Marshalls at 1800 Clements Bridge Road around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday for a shoplifting in progress involving one man and two women. Former Phillies center fielder Lenny Dykstra is claiming that an Uber driver kidnapped him in an incident last month in New Jersey that led to multiple charges against the MLB star. It happened around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23rd, in Linden, NJ. A Taiwanese exchange student who recently pled guilty to threatening to shoot up his Delaware County high school is now facing a federal firearms charge. 18-year-old An-Tso Sun pled guilty on Monday to making terroristic threats. A federal judge ruled on Wednesday, 6/6, that the Trump administration cannot cut off grants to the City of Philadelphia for failing to meet certain conditions involving the way the city handles illegal immigrants. U.S. District Judge Michael Baylson issued a 93-page memo in which he called those conditions unconstitutional, "arbitrary and capricious."
