A high school staff member in Chester County was arrested for sexually assaulting a teenage student. Tredyffrin Police arrested 67-year-old Arthur Phillips for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female student. Phillips has worked at Conestoga High School as an instructional aide in the television production studio since 2006. The victim told police she befriended Phillips at the beginning of the school year. They would exchange e-mails and texts, and he would take her places in his car.... Read More

A Philadelphia soccer coach has now been accused of sexually assaulting one of his former players multiple times, and having a baby with the teen. 39-year-old Francisco Prado-Contreras was arrested on Wednesday after police were notified of a 15-year-old teen who had a 7-month old baby that could be fathered by Contreras. A Tennessee teacher has been arrested and a teenage girl has been found safe in Northern California after the pair disappeared last month. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says that 50-year-old Tad Cummins and 15-year-old Elizabeth Thomas were found on Thursday. The pair disappeared from Maury County, TN on March 13th. The FBI announced today that a Bucks County man is under arrest for allegedly stealing almost a half a million dollars over 11 separate bank robberies in Pennsylvania since 2012. 57-year-old Richard Boyle of Doylestown is charged with multiple counts of bank robbery, using or carrying a firearm during the commission of those bank robberies, and money laundering. Festivities started first thing this morning with a ceremonial wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the American Revolution in Washington Square. Philadelphia Police reported on Tuesday night that a woman was struck by a police cruiser while it was in pursuit of a suspect in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on F Street near Kensington Avenue at around 5 pm. Witnesses reported that the chase started on foot inside of a park, then a police cruiser got involved and ended up hitting a woman who was in the park. A Maple Shade, New Jersey man convicted of killing 6-year-old Etan Patz in Manhattan in 1979 was sentenced today to 25 years to life in prison. 56-year-old Pedro Hernandez was a teenager at the time working in a convenience store in the neighborhood where Etan went missing on his way to the school bus. Patz was one of the first missing children to appear on the side of a milk carton and his disappearance on May 25 has become National Missing Children's Day. Hernandez was not a suspect...
