Delta is beginning limited flights from Philadelphia amid a global computer shutdown. Still, thousands are stranded and cancellations, delays are ongoing. About four years ago, Kathleen Kane became the first woman elected as Pennsylvania's Attorney General. Today, her trial begins on charges she leaked privileged grand jury information and then lied under oath to cover it up. Prosecutors say Kane was so angered after a leak to reporters that she had shut down an investigation, that in 2014, she orchestrated a leak of her own, sending secret information from another grand jury to a newspaper reporter. A railing separating the lawn section and a concrete walkway just outside the covered pavilion collapsed on Friday night at the BBT Pavilion in Camden, NJ. It happened just after 10 pm. Rappers Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa were performing on a temporary, secondary stage right in front of the railing at the time of the collapse. Two people have been arrested in connection to a brawl caught on video last week in a Wawa in Northeast Philadelphia. 43-year-old Barbara Bayona and 20-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez, both of Ditman Street in Tacony, have been charged with riot, criminal mischief, simple assault and other offenses. It happened on Friday night July 29th at the Wawa located on the 6400 block of Torresdale Avenue and Levick Street. The video showed a group of people inside the store. Several were shouting at... FBI agents and state police were busy on Friday executing numerous search warrants against IBEW Local 98 business manager Johnny 'Doc' Dougherty and Philadelphia City Councilman Bobby Henon. Agents removed cardboard boxes full of evidence as well as several computers from almost a dozen locations. They searched Dougherty's Moyamensing Ave. home in South Philadelphia as well as his sister's house next door. They also stopped at his bar called Doc's Union Pub and at the International... Federal and State Authorities conducted a raid of properties owned by Local 98 Union Leader John Dougherty 'Johnny Doc' this morning, as well as the IBEW Union Hall. At the electrician's Union Hall at 17th and Spring Garden Street, FBI agents searched that property and investigators were reportedly also searching Dougherty's home in South Philadelphia, as well as a possible third location. No word yet on what they are searching for.

Philadelphia Police are looking for a man they say beat and raped a woman in Kensington. Detectives say a man riding his bike grabbed a woman and beat her until she became unconscious. When she woke up, she was lying naked in the back of a property on Jasper Street, near Castor Avenue. Investigators say it happened on July 12th, around 12:30 in the morning. Elevator Accident at Philadelphia CJC; Joey Merlino Arrested in FL; School District Testing Water

An accident involving two elevators injured two people at the Philadelphia Criminal Justice Center this morning. Around 10:30 a.m., a loud 'explosion' shook the 17-story building at 13th and Filbert in Center City. The CJC was evacuated as a precaution and all court cases were postponed for the day. Authorities discovered that an employee elevator suffered a structural failure and broke through the ceiling of the shaft. That sent debris falling down the adjoining shaft onto another...
