Fugitive Philadelphia Lawyer Arrested in Alabama

Philadelphia lawyer Michael Kwasnik has been arrested in Dothan Alabama. Police arrested Kwasnik, a fugitive sought on charges that he had stolen $1.1 million from an elderly Cherry Hill widow.

Dothan Police Chief Gregory Benton said the arrest was made after police received a tip about a man at a Greyhound bus station transporting narcotics. Pennsylvania's own Taylor Swift is the Country Music Association's entertainer of the year.
Swift won the award for the second time. The international crossover sensation who has sold more than 20 million albums by the age of 21 also won the CMA's top honor in 2009. Swift becomes the second woman to win entertainer of the year twice at the CMAs, joining Barbara Mandrell.

According to ESPN former PA Governor Tom Ridge could be the next Penn State president. In the fallout of the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal, many expect current PSU president Graham Spanier to lose his job. Penn State's Board of Trustees is said to be weighing the possibility of having Ridge replace Spanier. Philadelphia boxing great, Joe Frazier died on Monday after being diagnosed with liver cancer about a month ago. He was 67. Smokin' Joe Frazier won Olympic Gold on his way to becoming one of boxing's all time heavyweight stars. Early in his career, Joe Frazier would train in a Philadelphia slaughterhouse, punching meat like a heavy bag, a workout made famous later in Rocky movies.

Penn State senior vice president Gary Schultz has stepped down and athletic director Tim Curley has taken an administrative leave amid allegations of covering up a sex scandal involving a former assistant coach on the football team, Jerry Sandusky.

Pink Floyd's Roger Waters will perform "The Wall" in Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park on July 14th 2012 as part of a large North American tour.
