Philadelphia authorities are investigating after the body of a woman was found in the basement of a South Philadelphia home on Thursday evening, 1/16. It happened around 5:10 p.m. on the 2100 block of Porter Street. The sheriff’s department went to the home to serve a robbery warrant to a female at the property. A 17-year-old has been charged in the deaths of his foster mother and a man who had recently been reported missing. Xavier Johnson is charged with the stabbing death of 64-year-old Renee Gilyard and 20-year-old Jimmy Mao, in separate incidents. Authorities believe that a propane leak may have caused a house to explode in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, on Tuesday morning, 1/14. Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man wanted for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl last month in Chester County. 41-year-old Erick Becerril-Perez is accused of raping the girl inside her home in London Grove Township on December 28, 2019. A 23-year-old man fell to his death while jumping between rooftops in Philadelphia's Callowhill neighborhood early Saturday morning, 1/11. It happened just before 2 a.m. on the 1200 block of Buttonwood Street. The victim and two other men, who all happen to be students at Drexel University College of Medicine, were jumping between rooftops when the victim missed a jump and fell two stories to the ground.
