President Donald Trump was in Philadelphia on Tuesday evening, 9/15, to participate in a town hall event sponsored by ABC News. It is being held at the National Constitution Center in Old City. You can expect road closures and SEPTA service outages in that area. There are also a number of planned demonstrations including supporters and protesters. SEPTA Officer Fights Man at Train Station; Suspects Wanted in Car Jacking; 3 Dead in Montco Shooting

A SEPTA Police Officer and a suspect were caught on cell phone camera engaging in a fist fight at the Allegheny station of the Market-Frankford El in Kensington on Monday morning, 9/14. The suspect was caught allegedly 'fare selling.' He was standing next to a turnstile and charging people to swipe them through the gate. He may have had a stolen, lost, or defective SEPTA Key card. The suspect ran off during the fight but police did catch and arrest him.

A federal judge has ruled that many of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf's administration's coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic restrictions were unconstitutional. Those restrictions include the stay-at-home orders, closure of 'non-essential' businesses, and the limitations of indoor/outdoor gathering size. A man was shot and killed by police in Lancaster, PA, on Sunday afternoon, 9/13, while chasing after the officer with a knife. The Lancaster County District Attorney's office has released police body camera footage of the incident (see below). 27-year-old Ricardo Munoz was pronounced dead at the scene. Police in Chester County believe that a man struck and seriously injured on the Route 30 bypass is to blame for the crash because of case of road rage. It happened around 3 p.m. Thursday, 9/10, on the eastbound lanes of the Route 30 bypass near South Whitford Road in West Whiteland Township.
