Various military planes from the Department of Defense participated in a 4th of July flyover called 'Salute to the Great Cities of the American Revolution.' The planes flew over Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore on Saturday, 7/4. The flight included the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, followed by B-1, B-2 and B-52 bombers, F-15 and F-22 fighters, and U.S. Marine Corps F-35 fighters. A Good Samaritan came to the rescue of a woman who fell onto the tracks at a SEPTA subway station earlier this week. The incident was caught on surveillance video. It happened on the westbound side at the 15th Street Station on the Market-Frankford line. Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine announced a new order on Wednesday, July 1, that masks or face coverings are now mandatory anytime you leave your home. The order takes effect immediately. Masks are required indoors any public building and outdoors any place you can't maintain proper social distancing.

Philadelphia Police are searching for an arson suspect in Northeast Philadelphia who accidentally set himself on fire. It happened at 12:42 a.m., 6/19, on the 11000 block of Knights Road. Police have released surveillance footage of the incident. The male suspect is seen pouring flammable liquid on some bushes and then igniting them. In the process he also lit himself on fire.
