Police are investigating a triple shooting in North Philadelphia believed to be a murder-suicide. It happened after 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, 12/22, on 2100 block of North 10th near French Streets. Two men and one woman were found shot inside and near a car. Police believe that the male driver got into an argument with a female in the passenger seat and another male in the back seat. The driver shot the female multiple times. Two workers were rescued after a building collapsed in North Philadelphia on Friday morning, 12/21. It happened just after 11:30 a.m. on Ridge Avenue and Vineyard Street near Girard Ave. The men were in an excavation site next to a vacant building when a wall from the building came crashing down and trapped them. More than half of the members of the Lincoln University men's basketball team were arrested last weekend following an on-campus incident. Several students face multiple charges including conspiracy to commit robbery, simple assault, burglary, and other related charges. The Bucks County Coroner has ruled the death of a toddler a homicide caused by blunt force trauma to the head. The autopsy was performed Wednesday night, 12/19. The 22-month-old boy was found dead in an apartment in Falls Township on Tuesday, 12/18. A high school student was attacked by a large group of teens on his way home from school on Monday, 12/17, in Kensington. It happened around 12:45 p.m. on the 1800 block of Lippincott Street. 15-year-old George Gonzalez was on his way home from Mastbaum High School after an early dismissal when he was jumped and assaulted by a group of around two dozen teens. A man accused of shooting his girlfriend in front of their newborn daughter last week has turned himself into police on Monday, 12/17. 32-year-old Tyrese Lynch surrendered to Philadelphia police around noon.
