A toddler was struck and killed by a car in the parking lot of the Haverford YMCA on Saturday afternoon, 11/17. The tragic accident happened around 12:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Eagle Road in Havertown. The 2-year-old girl got away from her mother and sat down in an empty parking spot. Philadelphia Police are looking for suspects wanted in a prank that terrorized a restaurant in University City on Tuesday night, 11/13. It happened at Terakawa Ramen at 125 South 40th Street. Thursday's evening commute was horrible for everyone in the Philadelphia area. The extended timing of the first snow of the season combined with all the vehicles on the roads created gridlock everywhere. Plow crews were unable to make a pass on many roads due to the traffic. A New Jersey couple and a Philadelphia homeless man have all been arrested following an investigation into a GoFundMe campaign that raised hundreds of thousands of dollars last year. The couple, Kate McClure and Mark D'Amico, were taken into custody by the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, 11/14. Upper Darby police say that a man was under the influence of heroin when he drove through a telephone pole in Delaware County on Sunday afternoon, 11/11. The Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed on a trade that will send All-Star F Jimmy Butler to the Sixers. Philadelphia will send F Robert Covington, F Dario Saric, G Jerryd Bayless, and a 2022 2nd round pick to Minnesota. The Sixers will also get F Justin Patton. The teams will have to finalize the trade on Monday with the league office and then players will undergo physicals. Butler could play for the Sixers on Wednesday, 11/14, at the Orlando Magic.
