A mother has been charged with homicide in the poisoning death of her 2-year-old son last month in Tullytown, Bucks County. Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub says that 42-year-old Jennifer Clarey has been charged with criminal homicide. Mazikeen Curtis was found dead inside his home on the 500 block of Lovett Avenue in the evening of Saturday, August 25th. Neighbors called police after observing Clarey acting out of character. Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz has been medically cleared to play and will start this Sunday, Week 3, against the Indianapolis Colts. Wentz has been out since December 10, 2017, when he tore his ACL and LCL in a game against the Los Angeles Rams requiring knee surgery. Backup quarterback Nick Foles took over for the rest of the season. He led the team through the playoffs to their first Super Bowl win. He personally won the MVP. Four people were rescued after a partial collapse of a building in Northern Liberties early Thursday morning, 9/13. It happened 4:30 a.m. on the 700 block of North 7th Street. Part of the three story building shifted and dropped down. No one was on the first or second floor, but three people were trapped on the third floor because windows and doors had shifted. The man now accused of taking money from a GoFundMe fundraiser he set up with his girlfriend to benefit a homeless man was arrested this week on an outstanding traffic warrant. 39-year-old Mark D'Amico of Florence, NJ, was taken into custody around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night and placed in the Burlington County jail. New York-based concert promoter Bowery Presents has purchased the building that housed the legendary Philadelphia music venue the Electric Factory since 1995. The concerts will continue at the Northern Liberties location, but it will no longer be known as the Electric Factory.
