The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly have reached an agreement with QB Tim Tebow. He will arrive in town to sign the 1-year deal tomorrow, Monday. The 27-year-old Tebow will join the Eagles as the 4th quarterback on the depth chart behind Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, and Matt Barkley in time for the start of off-season workouts. A freshman St. Joseph's Prep football player collapsed Saturday morning during spring workouts and died. 15-year-old Ryan Gillyard from Upper Darby was at the school's practice field at Cecil B. Moore Avenue and 11th Street when he suddenly collapsed shortly after warmups. He was taken by ambulance to Temple University Hospital where he died. The building that housed the historic Philadelphia International Records and Sigma Sound Studios will meet its fate on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. as the wrecking ball makes way for a planned 47-story hotel and luxury apartment building. Philadelphia Police shot a man they say was armed with two guns late Thursday night in the Frankford section of the city. Officers were responding to a call of shots fired just before midnight and found a large crowd gathered along the 1600 block of Pratt Street, near the Frankford Transportation Center. A judge has upheld charges against three people accused of beating a gay couple in Center City last year. Philip Williams of Warminster; Kevin Harrigan of Warrington; and Kathryn Knott of Southampton (pictured) were walking in a group of about a dozen people in September when they encountered the two victims near 16th and Chancellor Streets.
