A task force from the Special Victims Unit executed a search warrant Friday acting on an anonymous tip in the Nailla Robinson abduction case. Police raided and searched a home in the 6200 block of Walton Avenue. The home is located 2 blocks from Bryant Elementary School in West Philadelphia where the 5-year-old girl was taken from her classroom and near a trail that goes to the playground where Nailla was found early the next morning. Investigators took photos and removed items from the house, which are now being analyzed. People at the home were also questioned and released. The police are not revealing what, if anything, they have found at this point, or if they have any suspects in the case. There is an $85,000 reward for an arrest and conviction.

A Philadelphia man was arrested today after his stepson unwittingly brought a handgun to school yesterday. The 7-year-old boy attends Daroff Charter School on 57th and Vine Street. He found the gun in his backpack at the end of the day when he was transferring to his after school program and immediately told his teacher. Police have arrested his stepfather, Tarron Wescott, 22. He is charged with child endangerment, reckless endangerment and receiving stolen property. Wescott hid the gun, a .38-caliber snubnose revolver loaded with five bullets, in the boy's bag believing the bag was going to be thrown away the in the trash. He never intended the boy to take the bag to school. The gun itself was stolen during a 2008 robbery. Wescott's bail is set at 10 percent of $200,000.
