The Philadelphia Eagles are heading to the NFL Playoffs. The Eagles beat the Washington Redskins 24-0 on Sunday and the Chicago Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings 24-10 securing Philly's wildcard berth. Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles left the game in the fourth quarter after taking a hit from Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan. Philadelphia Police are searching for five individuals in connection to a murder last Friday in West Oak Lane. The shooting happened on Friday, 12/21, around 10 p.m. on the 2100 block of Middleton Street. The incident was caught on surveillance video. Remains of wooden ship wreck appeared on the beach in Stone Harbor, Cape May County, over the weekend before Christmas. A local historian believes the 25-foot-long vessel could be the D. H. Ingraham. It was a schooner heading to Richmond, Virginia loaded with a shipment of limes. In 1886, a fire broke out and five crew members were rescued. There is no way to know for sure. A mother in New Jersey caught her 6-year-old son cheating on his math homework by asking Alexa the answers. 24-year-old Yerelyn Cueva of Paterson posted a video of her son Jariel asking their Amazon Echo, "Alexa, what’s five minus three?" The smart speaker responded, "Five minus three equals two." Cueva was in the other room when she heard her son asking the device the answers to his homework. She decided to film him in the act. The Delaware Department of Correction announced on Wednesday that an inmate had escaped from a facility on Christmas Day. 31-year-old David Succarote climbed over the perimeter fence of the Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington. He was serving time for a probation violation and second degree robbery. Succarote is described as a white man with green eyes and brown hair. He is approximately 5-foot-8 and weighs 170 pounds. A young firefighter lost her life Christmas morning in a single-car crash in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County. It happened around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, 12/25, on Landis Avenue, west of Estelle Avenue. 21-year-old Natalie Dempsey was responding to a call as a member of the Mizpah Volunteer Fire Department.
