Meteor Explodes Into Russia, Carnival Cruise from Hell Ends, Asteroid Passes Earth Today |

There was panic as a meteor plunged to earth in Russia this morning injuring over 400 people. The impacted area is about 900 miles east of Moscow in Chelyabinsk. As the meteor entered the atmosphere and streaked across the sky, it exploded shattering windows in buildings. At least three were hospitalized. Most injuries reported were related to breaking glass.

The San Bernardino County Coroner's office has confirmed human remains recovered from a burned-out cabin following Tuesday's deadly gun battle are that of quadruple murder suspect Christopher Dorner. The remains were identified with dental records. Dorner's California driver’s license was found near his body inside the leveled Seven Oaks property.

Lautenberg says this marks the beginning of a two year mission to pass new gun safety laws, protect children from toxic chemicals and create opportunities for New Jersey’s working families. The shooter that killed two people at a Delaware courthouse, Thomas Matusiewicz wrote out phony death certificates for one of his victims, Christine Belford, and her lawyer before the shooting. Matusiewicz killed two people — his son's ex wife Christine Belford and her friend Laura Elizabeth Mulford – before shooting himself. The courthouse is scheduled to reopen to the public on Wednesday.

Olympic sprinter and double amputee Oscar Pistorius (pictured), known as the blade runner, has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend in South Africa. Pistorius will face a judge today and is the only suspect in the shooting of his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp in Pistorius' home.

Rain will gradually change over to snow tonight across the Delaware Valley. As the night progresses the temperature will drop and the precipitation will be all snow by midnight. Snowfall will continue until around 3 am leaving 1 to 3 inches by morning. The roads could be slick in the morning but tomorrow’s temperature will get to 48 on Valentine’s Day, so conditions will improve as the day progresses.

The wife of a former Penn basketball player has been charged with murder, stabbing her husband because he watched porn. While 53 year old Matthew White was asleep his wife, Maria Rey Garcia-Pellon (pictured) allegedly stabbed him in the neck in bed at their home in Nether Providence. White bled to death. Garcia-Pellon then went to a friend's house and told her she caught her husband looking at porn on the computer and she killed him.
