Indictments are being handed down today to former and current judges as well as other employees in the Philadelphia Traffic Court System. The indictments are related to ticket fixing and other inappropriate actions. Surrendering to the FBI today were three judges including former Judge Willie F. Singletary (pictured), who expects to be charged with fraud.

Authorities in Lambertville say they have recovered the body of a female that matches the description of missing New Hope bartender. Sarah Majoras in the Delaware & Raritan Canal on Wednesday. Officials also said there is no outward evidence of foul play.

Body of Missing Sarah Majoras Found in Canal in Lambertville, NJ

Authorities in Lambertville have recovered a body from the icy canal that they believe is missing 39-year-old Sarah Majoras. Majoras has been missing since Saturday at 2 a.m. when she left John and Peter's bar in New Hope, PA and walked across the bridge over the Delaware river towards her home in New Jersey. Divers, cameras, and sonar have been searching the canal all day today which is frozen over in many spots.

Priest and Teacher Found Guilty, Corbett Plans to Put $1 Billion in Schools, Wild Weather Change

The Verdict is guilty for the priest and Catholic school teacher accused of sexually assaulting a Northeast Philadelphia boy. The jury agreed on all but one count against Reverend Charles Engelhardt and the teacher Bernard Shero. Bail was revoked for both men and they were taken into custody. Charges were brought by a young man who was 10 years old at the time of the assault 14 years ago.

The search continues for 39-year-old Sarah Majoras of Lambertville on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities held a press conference at 3:30pm Wed to update the investitation to date. They still have not found Sarah Majoras. Authorities at the press conference stressed that they are putting all efforts into this case. Governor Corbett announces today his plan for privatizing Pennsylvania’s state liquor stores. There are over 600 state stores and the Corbett plan would put the system in private hands. The plan opens up the wine and beer market to grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, taverns and big-box stores.

The Pennsylvania State Police have temporarily suspended the use of breathalyzer in DUI stops. The decision is based on a ruling out of Dauphin County, where a judge threw out a DUI charge after raising concerns about the reliability of breathalyzer tests. Philadelphia police will continue to use breathalyzers. Funeral arrangements have been announced for Sally Starr. Our Gal Sal, a broadcasting legend in Philadelphia, died Sunday morning at the age of 90. The public is invited to a viewing and service scheduled for Monday February 4th at the Constantino Funeral Home at 231 White Horse Pike in Berlin, New Jersey. Sally Starr's sister, Mary Boyd says the public is invited to the viewing and service, however the burial will be private.
