It has been one year since Dulce Maria Alavez disappeared from Bridgeton City Park. It happened on September 16, 2019. The 5-year-old was playing with her younger brother on a playground while her mother, Noema Alavez Perez, sat a short distance away in the car when she vanished. Police in Darby Township, Delaware County have located the vehicle and identified three suspects in an attempted child abduction from Tuesday, 9/15. It happened around 3:45 p.m. near Tribbett Avenue and Hermesprota Drive at Hermesprota Park. The vehicle was described as a white GMC Savana van with black spray paint on the back and red spray paint on the passenger side. The driver got out of the vehicle and approached an 8-year-old girl. A SEPTA Police Officer and a suspect were caught on cell phone camera engaging in a fist fight at the Allegheny station of the Market-Frankford El in Kensington on Monday morning, 9/14. The suspect was caught allegedly 'fare selling.' He was standing next to a turnstile and charging people to swipe them through the gate. He may have had a stolen, lost, or defective SEPTA Key card. The suspect ran off during the fight but police did catch and arrest him.

A federal judge has ruled that many of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf's administration's coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic restrictions were unconstitutional. Those restrictions include the stay-at-home orders, closure of 'non-essential' businesses, and the limitations of indoor/outdoor gathering size. A man was shot and killed by police in Lancaster, PA, on Sunday afternoon, 9/13, while chasing after the officer with a knife.
